Today we fulfilled our yearly tradition of taking pictures in the pumpkin patch. Despite its cliche-ness, I still love it. This was Hazel's first pumpkin patch experience outside of the womb. As you can see, she loved really enjoyed herself.
Maybe she is mad that her skinny cords are too tight. Let it go, Haze. It's a problem we all have.
Happy Fall.

Years Not Months
Hazel turned 1 year old this week. Instead of having a big 'ol party for her, we had a few mini celebrations...filled with good food, homemade treats, and fun friends and family. Here are a few pics of Hazel's week:
A fun dinner out with the fam.
Good birthday morning, Hazelnut.
She can cry if she wants to.
I'm a huge fan of making my kiddos' birthday cakes. There is something endearing about it.
We celebrated with our life group on Hazel's actual birthday.
A couple days after her birthday we had a small party with a few other babies at Shipley's. Thanks Mr. Brett for the awesome birthday doughnut.
Hazel Jane. All personality. World's best baby climber. Most animated kid I have ever known. Lover of all animals. Obsessed with her sister. Full of joy and attitude and affection and love. Irreplaceable, her.
Happy birthday, Bitsy Bug. You add so much beauty to our family. You are the perfect fit. We love you to pieces.
* I fully intend on blogging about our summer. **Intentions are what matter. ***Sorry about the weird spacing between my pictures. Blogspot is annoying.

She's 3. Tear.
Harper turned three today. I couldn't love her more. Passionate. Compassionate. Sensitive. Spirited. Strong-willed. Hilarious. Beautiful, her. She made me a mom and has made my life full every day since. Happy birthday, Tiny Dancer. Thanks for being wonderful you.
Harper picked a purple and pink polish and popcorn party. She genuinely loves all four themes.
Sad that this the best shot I have of some of Harp's friends. I never remember to get group pics.
Meet Ballet. Jane and Lela win the "Most Creative Gift" award.
My big girl. I can hardly take it.
Her adoring little sister. I can hardly take it.
Capturing a family pic with all family members looking takes an act of Congress. Unfortunately, Congress isn't in session on Sundays.
She promised me she would stay little forever.
She better keep her promise.

The Faces of Avocado
Harper was an amazing eater. And then she turned 2. Now she only wants cereal bars and popcorn. For this reason, I have been very determined for Hazel to eat as much green as possible in her baby months, with the hope that it will stay in her system through her toddler years.
Thanks for the avocado, Mom. I love playing in it.
This is a blast!
Okay, Mom. Ready for dinner.
For real, Mom. Ready to eat.
Wait. What? This is dinner?
Seriously, I can't believe I have to eat this.
My life is so hard.
