Harper's school has a pumpkin patch every year. Picking out pumpkins has turned into a little tradition for fam and we love it. This year, Hazel Jane participated in her own special way. 39 weeks. Can't wait to have 2 little girls to hold.

Lately
I started my new job at Baylor. We've had family in town watching Harper on her "summer" break from PDO. My belly has gotten huge. We began the process of creating a big girl room for Harper. And, Harper and her baby sister (who has yet to be named) received their first matching outfits. Thanks Mary and Luke--all the way from Indonesia! I'm obsessed with these dresses.
Traditional Indonesian dresses. The girls will be so cute and cultured.
My ever increasing in size belly...31 weeks.
And, 32 weeks...not a great outfit but usually what I look like if I'm not working. It's hot, people.
The countdown begins. We can't wait to meet wonder bug. Wonder Bug might actually end up being her name. Maybe Dub-B for short. That's how far we are from deciding on what to call her.

Bittersweet
After almost 7 years with Communities In Schools of the Heart of Texas, I have taken a part-time case management position with the Baylor University Counseling Center. I am looking forward to the wonderful professional opportunities at Baylor but will dearly miss the friendships I have at CIS. Here's to seven great years practicing Social Work and the continuation of many more!

HBDTY, Again.
Harper's final birthday celebration with a few of her friends at What About Cupcakes:
She takes her birthday very seriously.
*Notice the long gold chain she insisted on wearing.
Each kiddo got a cupcake, juice, and a party favor. Simple and sweet.
I forgot to take a group picture...this one will have to do.
Happy birthday, Harper Lane. You are worth celebrating every day.

Time Flies
If I had a magical power, it would be to slow down time. My newborn somehow turned 2 years old this past weekend, and I can hardly handle it. I want this season to last forever. I will be that mom still rocking her when she is 32. Is that weird?
We spent the last few days with my family at Lakeway, celebrating Harper's 2nd birthday and Krissy's 23rd birthday,
eating great food and eating up sunshine. I love restful getaways...the time is good
for my soul and water is good for my ever increasing belly and swelling ankles.
In my mind, she looks like this.
In reality, she looks like this...the prettiest girl I know.
Harper loved her cow cupcakes. She is obsessed with cows.
Don't mind her ghost face. I'm on the offense when it comes to wrinkles.
Harper could swim 12 hours out of the day.
It might be time for dance class.
Good times and great memories.

Two of a Kind
We had a great time celebrating my 2 favorite people this weekend at the Murphy's, Lane and Harper Lane. I love that Father's Day and Harper's birthday are so close together...presents and cake seem to go on for weeks.
Love to both of my loves. You make my life rich and full and sweet.
Harper made her daddy a special mug. She was really into painting for approximately 3.5 minutes of the hour long process.
I'm old news when it comes to these two.
Harper posing in front of some of her gifts while sporting Lane's childhood boots.
Such a fun guy and an even more amazing dad. Harper is a lucky gal.
Harper loved her ladybug cake but was scared to eat the ladybugs. I'm glad she understands that we never eat bugs.
Grandmommy tells great stories. I'm so thankful Harper knows both of Lane's grandmothers...both are beautiful, classy, and strong women. I pray she follows suit.
Harper is wearing a special dress made for her by Grandmother...so cute!
Love to both of my loves. You make my life rich and full and sweet.
